Do not assume a Ray-Ban Meta Gen 1 accessory will fit Gen 2. Check the exact frame, size, attachment point, and accessory version. A familiar frame name is a starting point for comparison, not proof that the bridge, speaker opening, or charging connection is identical.
Identify your glasses first
Ray-Ban says the product name is marked on the inside of the right temple. Note the frame name, size, and generation from your glasses and purchase information, then compare the attachment area with the accessory gallery. Include those details if you ask us to check a fit.
Do not extend a Wayfarer listing to Headliner or Skyler automatically. Separate Ray-Ban Meta Audio, Optics, Display, or newer-generation models also need their own confirmation.
What to check for each accessory
- Nose pads: compare the bridge contact area, attachment method, and listed pad size. The 2-pair silicone nose-pad kit requires a matching bridge layout. Do not remove fixed frame parts to make a pad fit.
- Sound guides: compare the temple and speaker opening. CHANNEL lists Wayfarer, Wayfarer Large, and Headliner layouts for comparison; it does not establish fit across every generation. Round, Skyler, and other frames are not confirmed for that listing. CHANNEL is a universal, cross-brand passive silicone sound guide for smart glasses with open-ear speakers. Align the guide with your speaker and temple layout.
- Side shields: compare the frame and temple shape with the FIN gallery. Keep cameras, microphones, controls, and recording indicators unobstructed, and check peripheral visibility.
- Temple grips: compare arm thickness, curvature, and clearance around speakers and controls. GRIP is a general-fit style; that does not guarantee a match for every frame.
- Storage cases: compare the folded glasses and attached accessories with the interior layout. VAULT is a storage case for matching slim frames, not a charger or a guarantee of cross-generation fit.
- Charging accessories: compare the glasses' contacts, connector, and mounting layout, not just the model family. The POD charging kit lists matching layouts and fit checks. Do not assume it fits because another accessory does.
Recheck the original charging case
After fitting any accessory, check that the glasses fold normally, sit on the charging contacts, and let the lid close without pressure. Remove an accessory if it obstructs docking or closure. Never force the case shut.
