Short answer: mostly yes. Meta kept the Wayfarer form factor for Ray-Ban Meta Gen 2, so accessories that attach to the frame, temples, or nose bridge — nose pads, sound guides, side shields, anti-slip grips — generally fit both generations. Accessories built around the charging case are where compatibility breaks.
What carries over
- Nose pads: the bridge geometry is unchanged, so silicone replacement pads fit Gen 1 and Gen 2.
- Temple-mounted audio guides: SGG CHANNEL fits Wayfarer and Headliner temples on both generations.
- Side shields: SGG FIN attaches to the frame front, which is dimensionally the same.
- Anti-slip kits and straps: SGG GRIP and similar fit-based accessories are frame-agnostic within the Wayfarer family.
- Cases and pouches: hard cases sized for the glasses themselves, like SGG VAULT, fit both.
What to double-check
- Charging-case add-ons: Gen 2's case differs from Gen 1's. Anything that wraps, docks, or plugs into the case needs a Gen 2-specific version — SGG POD Meta lists supported generations on its product page.
- Skyler and Headliner frames: most accessories list supported frame styles separately; Wayfarer coverage does not automatically mean Skyler coverage.
How to be sure before you order
Every SGG product page lists compatible brands, models, and generations. If yours is not listed or you are unsure, send us your exact model and we will confirm fit before you pay — that is also why we keep a 30-day return window.
