The XREAL One Pro presses directly against your forehead and the bridge of your nose. After 30–60 minutes of continuous wear, the heat from the processor and display starts building up at those contact points. Sweat forms. Discomfort sets in. You take the glasses off, wipe your face, and put them back on — only to repeat the cycle 20 minutes later. The SGG BREEZE is a thin comfort foam that sits between the frame and your skin, creating an air gap that disrupts this heat-sweat loop.
The heat problem
Smart glasses with displays generate meaningful heat — the XREAL One Pro runs an active display, processing pipeline, and brightness management system that all produce thermal output. Unlike a phone, which dissipates heat through its back panel into the air, the glasses dissipate heat directly into your skin at the contact points. The forehead pad and nose bridge become warm, and that warmth triggers perspiration.
This isn't a defect — it's physics. Any display glasses that sit against your face will do this to some degree. The question is whether you manage it or endure it.
How BREEZE works
BREEZE is a thin foam layer that adheres to the frame's face-contact surfaces. It does two things:
- Creates an air gap. The foam's cell structure holds a thin layer of air between the frame and your skin. Air is a poor thermal conductor, so heat transfer from the frame to your face drops significantly.
- Absorbs moisture. The open-cell foam wicks sweat away from the contact point instead of letting it pool between plastic and skin. This keeps the surface drier and more comfortable.
The combined effect: the heat-sweat cycle that limits XREAL One Pro sessions to 30–60 minutes gets extended to 2+ hours for most users. It's not magic — you'll still eventually get warm in a long session — but the improvement is substantial enough that you notice it every time.
Installation
BREEZE comes pre-cut to match the XREAL One Pro's forehead pad and nose bridge contact areas. Clean the frame surface, peel the adhesive backing, and press into place. Total installation time: about two minutes. The adhesive is strong enough to hold through daily use but can be removed cleanly if you want to replace the foam later.
What about the optical path?
A common concern: does adding foam change the display position? The foam is thin enough (approximately 1.5mm) that the display shift is negligible for most users. If you're extremely sensitive to display alignment, you may notice a very slight change in eye-to-display distance — but in practice, the comfort improvement far outweighs this.
Compatibility
BREEZE is designed specifically for the XREAL One Pro. The pre-cut shapes match the One Pro's face-contact geometry. It does not fit the XREAL One (different frame shape), XREAL Air series, or other brands. For general comfort improvements on other glasses, see SGG GRIP or SGG SLEEVE.
The honest take
If you use your XREAL One Pro for more than 30 minutes at a time, BREEZE is a near-essential upgrade. The heat buildup at the face contact points is the single biggest comfort limiter on these glasses, and BREEZE directly addresses it. At $22.99, it's inexpensive insurance against the "I need to take these off" moment that cuts short your productivity or entertainment session.
If you only use your XREAL One Pro in short 15–20 minute bursts, you probably won't notice the heat issue enough to need this.
