SGG SLEEVE — Knitted Temple Covers for Smart Glasses (3 Pairs)

The simplest accessory in the catalog is sometimes the one people end up liking the most. SGG SLEEVE is a set of three pairs of knitted fabric covers that slide over your smart glasses temple arms. They add grip, cushioning, and moisture management to the one part of the frame that sits against your head all day — and they cost less than two coffees.

Three problems, one solution

Slipping. Smart glasses temple arms are typically smooth plastic or polished metal. Against skin — especially oily or sweaty skin — they slide. The knitted fabric adds texture that grips instead of sliding. Unlike silicone, which can feel sticky, the knit provides controlled friction that works in both dry and wet conditions.

Pressure discomfort. Hard temple arms pressing against the side of your head create hot spots during long sessions. The sleeves add a thin cushioning layer that distributes pressure over a wider area. It's a small change, but after two hours of wearing XREAL glasses for a movie, the difference in temple soreness is noticeable.

Sweat and moisture. The knitted material wicks moisture away from the skin-frame contact point. Instead of sweat pooling under a plastic arm and breaking grip, the fabric absorbs it and keeps the surface functionally dry. This is why the sleeves actually grip better when you sweat — the opposite of bare frames.

Why three pairs?

Hygiene and rotation. The sleeves sit against your skin for hours at a time and absorb sweat and oils. Having three pairs means you can rotate: one pair on the glasses, one pair washed and drying, one pair clean and ready. In practice, most people swap pairs weekly and hand-wash the used set. They dry quickly.

Extra pairs also mean you can keep a set with each pair of smart glasses if you own more than one, or have a spare in your bag.

Installation and fit

Slide the sleeve onto the temple arm from the tip. The knit stretches to accommodate arms between 4mm and 8mm wide, which covers every smart glasses frame on the market. The fabric grips itself around the arm — no adhesive, no clips. To remove, slide them off. To wash, gentle hand-wash with mild soap and air dry.

Compatible with every brand: Ray-Ban Meta, Oakley Meta, XREAL, RayNeo, Rokid, VITURE, and any other glasses with standard temple arms.

SLEEVE vs GRIP

Both products include temple sleeves. The difference: GRIP comes with one pair of sleeves plus silicone ear hooks (for $14.99). SLEEVE comes with three pairs of sleeves only (for $9.99). If you know you want ear hooks for activity, get GRIP. If you just want temple comfort and grip with spares for rotation, SLEEVE is the better value.

The honest take

At $9.99 for three pairs, SLEEVE is the lowest-cost, highest-return accessory in our entire lineup. The improvement in comfort and grip is disproportionate to the price and simplicity of the product. Every smart glasses owner who wears their frames for more than 30 minutes at a stretch should own these. If you're only going to buy one accessory from this store, these are a strong candidate — not because they're the most impressive, but because they improve every single session.
